The Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma qualification in Computing is aimed at students wanting to continue their education through applied learning. It provides a wide-ranging study of the Computing sector and are designed for students who wish to pursue or advance their career in Computing. In addition to the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin the study of the Computing sector, Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing gives students experience of the breadth and depth of the sector and equips the students with Computing skills, knowledge and the understanding necessary to achieve high performance in the global Computing environment.
The BTEC HND in Computing (Software Engineering) allows students to specialize in Software Engineering. The BTEC HND is equivalent to the first two years of a UK Honours degree and on completing the programme, it provides opportunities for students to enter into the final year of an Honours degree in Software Engineering or related area and supports progression into relevant occupational areas.
