CIW Foundations Series:
HTML Fundamentals
is a two-day class designed to teach the fundamentals of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and other aspects of Web authoring. Students will learn the HTML 4.0 Recommendation Transitional Flavor and will create Web pages using HTML tags to format text, hyperlinks, tables, graphics, and forms. Students will also work use Cascading Style Sheets and study the basics of Dynamic HTML (DHTML), Extensible HTML (XHTML), and how XHTML relates to the Extensible Markup Language (XML).|
Target Audience All professionals required to use the Internet in their daily job functions. Information in this course is required for all levels of specialization in the CIW program. |
Job Responsibilities Understand the common core of Internet knowledge, and apply the foundation skills required for further specialization. |
Prerequisites
Students must have completed Basic Internet Fundamentals and Advanced Internet Fundamentals or have equivalent Internet knowledge.
